Preserving Medieval Limbaži: Our Guided Heritage Journey

Kreadiy Ltd specializes in crafting meaningful walking experiences through centuries of history. We're dedicated to helping seniors discover the architectural treasures and spiritual stories woven into Limbaži's old town and St Catherine Church grounds.

Why We Created These Trails

We started kreadiy Ltd because we noticed something important: Limbaži's medieval heritage wasn't just disappearing into the past — it was becoming invisible to the people who valued it most. Seniors, especially, were missing out on the stories embedded in these cobblestone streets and ancient church walls.

The challenge wasn't complicated. Walking routes existed, but they weren't designed with older adults in mind. No resting spots. No clear pacing. No storytelling that made history come alive. We decided to change that. Over two years, we've mapped every pathway, installed seating at natural intervals, and researched the real stories — not tourist summaries — behind each stone and burial marker.

Today, our guided trails aren't just walks through old spaces. They're conversations with history. Participants don't just see St Catherine Church; they understand why it was built where it was, who worshipped there, and what the gravestones actually tell us about daily life in medieval Limbaži. That's the difference we wanted to make.

Our Expertise

How We Bring History to Life

Carefully Mapped Routes

We've tested every meter of our pathways for accessibility. Gentle gradients, even surfaces, and strategic resting points mean you're walking at your pace, not ours.

Research-Backed Stories

Parish records, architectural surveys, and gravestone inscriptions form the foundation of what we share. You're hearing documented history, not speculation.

Small Group Experiences

We cap groups at 12 people. It's intentional. Smaller means more conversation, fewer crowds, and actual connections with both the history and other participants.

Genuine Care for Comfort

Weather-appropriate timing, accessible facilities nearby, and guides trained in mobility support. We've thought about the details that matter.

By The Numbers

Real Engagement With Real History

1,200+

Senior Visitors Guided

Since we launched in 2022, over 1,200 older adults have walked our routes, discovered stories they didn't know, and connected with Limbaži's medieval past in ways that stuck with them.

4

15

Trained Local Guides

Most grew up in Limbaži or have lived here 20+ years. They don't just know facts — they know the place. They remember changes, understand local context, and genuinely care about sharing what makes this town special.

100%

Accessibility Reviewed

Every pathway, entrance, and facility has been assessed for wheelchair access, seating availability, and physical demands. We're not claiming perfection, but we've documented what works and what doesn't on each route.

What Drives Us

Respect for History, Care for People

We're not in the business of tourism. We're protecting cultural memory while creating genuine experiences. kreadiy Ltd exists because we believe medieval Limbaži belongs to everyone — especially those who've lived long enough to appreciate its significance.

"Walking through these streets, hearing where people lived and died, seeing how they marked their graves — it connects you to something real. Not a story told by someone else, but your own understanding of how life actually was."

— Ingrid, 72, after the Cemetery Garden Path
